Piancornello
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
Piancornello's story began in 1950 when founder Zefiro acquired a 1700s farmhouse in Montalcino's Sesta quarter, planting the estate's first Brunello vines on land that would define four generations. Today, the 20-hectare property on an upland plateau between Sant'Angelo in Colle and Castelnuovo dell'Abate benefits from a distinctly Mediterranean microclimate that shapes its organic Sangiovese grapes. The Brunello di Montalcino ages a minimum of 48 months, building structure and depth that reflect both terroir and continuity of care across the family's decades of stewardship on the same red soils.
