Podere Baratta spans 12 hectares across a slope of Bertinoro's Monte della Baratta, a hilltop crowned by the cypress that inspired Giosuè Carducci's poetry. The estate's elevation on the Tuscan-Romagnol Apennine ridge channels Adriatic winds to create a microclimate ideal for viticulture. Since the Satta family's arrival from Sardinia in 1960, the property has focused on refining Romagna Albana DOCG—both dry white and passito styles—using modern techniques within the bounds of local winemaking tradition.
