PODERE CASELLA

Podere Casella tends vineyards across the Val d'Orcia, where Sangiovese dominates the slate and clay soils of Castiglione d'Orcia. The producer crafts wines under the Orcia DOC, a designation spanning twelve municipalities and governed by strict protocols: minimum 11.5% alcohol, Sangiovese as the anchor, and white varieties capped at ten percent. Each vintage balances structure with the territorial fingerprint of southern Tuscany's windswept plateau.
