Renato Keber

Renato Keber works the slopes of Zegla, a hillside descending toward Slovenia where his family has tended vines for four generations since 1900. He seeks wines that capture secondary and tertiary aromas—expressions of Collio's mineral soils with the freshness to age gracefully. The terraced vineyards that once supplied the Habsburgs now yield white wines of precision from Ribolla, Tocai, and other regional varieties, each bottled with the philosophy that terroir and patience craft subtlety.
