San Fabiano Calcinaia

At the threshold between Poggibonsi and Castellina in Chianti, San Fabiano Calcinaia spans 134 hectares, with 34 planted to vines—16 of them yielding Chianti Classico DOCG. Since 1983, proprietors Guido Serio and Isa have steered the estate through systematic renewal: vineyard replanting, cellar reconstruction, and team-building. Today the house produces exclusively from estate grapes across Toscano IGT red, white, and rosato, distributed globally. In 2009, full organic conversion cemented the producers' pledge to couple quality with environmental responsibility.
