TERRE CAUDIUM

Terre Caudium emerged in 2007 when Carmine Caporaso channeled four generations of Taburno-area viticulture into a dedicated winery. The Caporaso family began cultivating vines at the mountain's base in the early 1900s; today, the cantina at 400 meters elevation produces Aglianico del Taburno DOCG across the Benevento zone. The winery's reds and rosés—aged a minimum of 24 months—draw intensity from Aglianico and other black grape varieties suited to Campania's volcanic terrain. Visitors can taste directly at the estate.
