Terre de la Custodia produces Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, the formidable red wine of Umbria's five-municipality zone. The house crafts both a structured rosso and an opulent passito expression from Sagrantino grapes, each aged a minimum of 37 months. At 13.0% ABV or higher, these wines capture the mineral complexity and dark fruit intensity distinctive to the volcanic soils surrounding Montefalco. The extended maturation protocol ensures tannin refinement and structural integrity across both styles.
