Davide Valla inherited more than a name when he took over the family vineyard in Ziano Piacentino in 2007—he stepped into six decades of winemaking spanning three generations. His 5 hectares, split across two nearby plots, now benefit from recent modernization aimed at elevating quality. From aromatic Malvasia bianca and Moscato bianco to structured reds, Valla crafts Val Tidone IGT wines across still, sparkling, and dry styles, each reflecting the Piacenza foothills' terroir.
