Tinnura

In the wind-swept Planargia hills of western Sardinia, the tiny settlement of Tinnura blends seamlessly into neighbouring Flussio along a single shared highway. This specific geographic micro-climate shapes the cultivation of ancient vines, most notably yielding the prestigious Malvasia di Bosa DOC, a rare wine limited to a restricted zone of just 7 municipalities. Tinnura's volcanic slopes and maritime drafts also nurture the Planargia IGT, contributing to a total of 17 protected denominations overlapping this small territory. These dry, sun-drenched soils concentrate sugars and aromatics, making this tiny enclave a powerhouse for highly localized viticulture.
