Accomo Flli Silvano E Bruno

Asti DOCG

Accomo Flli Silvano e Bruno operates in the fifty-one municipalities of the Asti DOCG area, the winery's sole denomination, highlighting Moscato bianco and the aromatic white grape varieties of Piedmont. These grapes produce a sparkling wine that also includes bottle refermentation using the Metodo Classico, alongside still whites: both bound by a minimum alcohol content of 11.5% and at least one month of aging. The dual production — traditional sparkling on one hand, still version on the other — places the producer at a crossroads. There's the sparkling and aromatic heritage that made Asti famous, and there's a more measured, drier interpretation of the same Moscato, less common for the denomination. Concentrating entirely on a single territory allows for a thorough exploration of its stylistic possibilities, making a fragrant grape the testing ground for different registers, from Metodo Classico to still winemaking, thus providing a broad portrait of a grape variety often understood in a single way.
