🏡 Tastings & visitsChianti Classico DOCG

Since 2000, Claudia Voss has led Acquadiaccia, a small estate in Panzano in Chianti producing around 2,000 bottles a year, all organically certified. She personally oversees every stage of winemaking without relying on an external oenologist, and from this direct relationship with the vineyard come structured and savory Chianti Classico DOCG wines, built on a base of 90% Sangiovese with complementary grape varieties. The minimal scale has not prevented recognition: in 2023, Gambero Rosso awarded two glasses to the Gran Selezione 2017 and 2018, a testament to consistency that does not depend on volume. Acquadiaccia represents handmade Chianti, where the grower's signature remains legible in the glass rather than being diluted by quantity. Visitors to the estate find exactly this: a human-scale reality where Voss herself recounts the vintages and explains vineyard choices. It's worth the detour through the hills of Greve for those seeking Chianti Classico in its most artisanal and direct form.
