Agostino Pavia & Figli cultivates its own vineyards around Agliano Terme, in the Asti area, focusing its work on three Piedmontese DOCG denominations. The cornerstone is Barbera d'Asti, interpreted in four distinct versions that share the same territorial roots: variations on the same grape variety, rather than different wines, a testament to the mastery achieved over a single material. Surrounding it are Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato and Terre Alfieri, both reflecting the pedological characteristics of this sector of Monferrato. The portfolio thus outlines a small geography of Asti wines: the everyday and structured red of Barbera, the rarer and spicier aromaticity of Ruchè, and the Terre Alfieri range completing the picture. Alongside their winemaking, the family also runs the Agriturismo Cascina La Marescialla, set in the landscape that shapes the wines themselves — a sign of a direct link between the producer and the land that gives form to the bottles, with no intermediaries between vineyard and glass.
