Aprutino Pescarese DOP

In Moscufo, on the Pescara hills that have always favored olive cultivation, Agresta Fidenzio produces oil within the Aprutino Pescarese DOP area, a mosaic of forty-six municipalities. It is a territory that imparts clear herbaceous notes to the fruit, recognizable even before tasting, and which the producer allows to emerge without forcing. His extra virgin olive oils span a chromatic range from green to golden yellows, a sign of different harvests and ripeness levels. On the palate, the key is balance: an elegant, harmonious oil that shies away from overpowering intensity to prioritize the legibility of the territory. This is a precise stylistic choice, because Aprutino demands finesse, not muscle, and finesse is achieved only by carefully managing harvesting and milling times. A single denomination is enough to define Agresta's work: everything, from the hilly soil to the exposure of the rows, up to that measured palate which is the house signature, plays out within those forty-six municipalities. The oil emerges as a portrait of Pescara's olive-growing region, more inclined to elegance than ostentation.
