Agriccolò

Conegliano Valdobbiadene - Prosecco DOCG

Agriccolò also operates within the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, the company's sole denomination and the recognized heart of Italian sparkling wines. The interpretation here is explicitly multi-varietal: five indigenous grapes — Glera as the base, flanked by Verdiso, Bianchetta trevigiana, Perera, and Glera lunga — contribute to defining the profile, in an approach that rejects single-varietal simplification. On this palette, the company crafts three expressions — still white, frizzante, and spumante — each over 10.5% alcohol, distributed across the fifteen municipalities of the area. It is precisely the combination of minor varieties, alongside Glera, that distinguishes Agriccolò's interpretation: a way of looking at the denomination that values nuances instead of flattening them to the dominant style. The result is a Prosecco conceived as a system of different voices, where each grape variety contributes to the overall texture of the wine, and it is in this sum of details that the company seeks its signature.
