Agricole Vallone

Lecce · Province of Lecce · Puglia

Brindisi DOCSquinzano DOC

From Lecce, the gateway to Salento, Agricole Vallone oversees two of southern Puglia's most recognizable denominations: Brindisi DOC and Squinzano DOC. These are contiguous origins, both built on the dark grape varieties of the Ionian Arc, which the winery works with to create a comprehensive interpretation of the territory. At the heart are Negroamaro and Malvasia nera, channeled into red, rosé, and white wines that regularly exceed the 12% alcohol minimum. This pair of denominations allows the winery to navigate different registers—from the full structure of the reds to the freshness of the rosés—without straying from the Salento idiom. Here, Puglia's viticultural genetics, settled over time, meet the calcareous soils that impart a distinctive mineral precision to the wines. Agricole Vallone interprets this encounter as continuity rather than contrast: two nearby DOCs, a single underlying character, expressed through complementary colors and styles. The result is a range that tells the story of southern Salento in its dual soul: the warmth of its indigenous grape varieties and the salinity of the soils that host them.
