AGRIFAAM Soc. Coop. Agr. operates in Corigliano-Rossano, in the province of Cosenza, within the cultivation area of Clementine di Calabria IGP. The denomination has a broad regional scope — 404 municipalities — and the cooperative interprets it in its most typical function: to collect and channel the fruits of an extensive network of producers, delivering a homogeneous quality that a single field would hardly guarantee on its own. The offering is structured on two fronts of the same protection: the traditional clementine and the apirena variety, seedless, increasingly in demand by markets. In both cases, the IGP protects the cultivation practices adapted to the Calabrian soils and climate, the true factor that binds flavor and consistency from one harvest to the next.
