Agriturismo fattoria laghetto

On the vine-covered slopes of Merate, in the province of Lecco, Agriturismo Fattoria Laghetto embodies the work of the Casati family, who cultivate vines and raise animals on land inherited from previous generations. Their bottles bear the Terre Lariane IGT denomination: the white Verdese and Chardonnay alongside a red and a rosé, each with a minimum alcohol content of 11%. However, wine is just one part of the story. In the farm's kitchen, chef Eliana brings three decades of expertise to the Brianza tradition, reinterpreting local dishes with a contemporary touch that blends memory and innovation. Vines, livestock, and cuisine form a short cycle, where what originates on the Larian slopes returns to the table without lengthy journeys. It's an agricultural model that links the bottle to the plate and the hilly landscape to its gastronomic interpretation, restoring the identity of a corner of Lombardy suspended between the lake and Brianza.
