On the hills of La Morra, in the province of Cuneo, Alessandro Rivetto's winery oversees four DOCG denominations that summarize the hierarchy of Langa reds. At the pinnacle is Barolo, with its 38 months of aging and a minimum of 13% alcohol; alongside it, the more expansive Barbaresco. At the foot of this noble pair are the Dolcetto wines—Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba and Dogliani—easy-drinking wines that complete the picture without seeking the gravitas of Nebbiolo. Twenty years of direct practice have given the winery a precise approach: a space for dialogue where external exchange fuels internal choices, and the project remains under continuous review, never considered finished.
