Alibrianza S.r.l. – Cantine Andreas Mazzei

Sicilia IGPSicilia DOC

Alibrianza S.r.l. – Cantine Andreas Mazzei works with both olives and vines within the extensive protected Sicilian area, moving between two eponymous and complementary denominations: Sicilia DOC and Sicilia IGP. A dual expertise that brings together oil mill and winery under a single interpretation of the island's territory. On the oil front, the extra virgin olive oils aim for a verdant intensity, with aromas reminiscent of unripe tomato, a total polyphenol content of at least 100 mg/kg, and an acidity kept within the strict limit of 0.5%. On the wine front, the Sicilia DOC denomination gives space to a range of black grape varieties, both indigenous and international: Nero d'Avola, Frappato, Nerello Mascalese, and Syrah. These produce red, rosé, and white wines that reach at least 12% alcohol, expressing a viticulture that spans very different varieties. Two parallel denominations, one for oil and one for wine, held together by the same mastery of the terroir: this ability to speak two productive languages with a single accent defines the company's identity.
