Allegrini
Since the 16th century, Allegrini has overseen the territories of Soave and Valpolicella. Today, four family members—Francesco, Giovanni, Matteo, and Silvia—guide its work, combining fidelity to heritage with the precision of contemporary enology. The productive heart revolves around Garganega and complementary white grape varieties cultivated in the twelve municipalities of the Verona area, expressed in two guaranteed denominations: a dry white that requires maturation and a passito that concentrates the fruit through drying. These are the two grammars of Soave, the dry and the sweet versions, interpreted by the same hand. The result is wines that seek balance between territorial interpretation and technical control, without yielding to either folklore or artifice. The winery is open to visitors: tastings allow for a close appreciation of this dual nature, moving from the mineral tension of the still white to the density of Recioto. An opportunity to understand how a single grape culture can produce such diverse registers.
