Alma Soul

In Corno di Rosazzo, where the Colli Orientali del Friuli reach their maximum qualitative density, Alma Soul works with three of the region's most demanding DOCGs. The range extends from the sweet Verduzzo Friulano of Ramandolo to the mineral white wines of Rosazzo—Friulano and Sauvignon—up to Picolit, a grape variety so delicate that it merits its own denomination restricted to 19 municipalities. The three denominations share strict thresholds for alcohol and concentration, which impose low yields and precision viticulture: here, prestige is not a label, but the consequence of stringent technical constraints. The winery thus operates across three distinct standards of northeastern viticulture, from sweet passito to structured dry white. Visits and tastings allow visitors to closely observe how terroir and discipline converge in these three pinnacles of Friulian production, each with its own grape variety grammar and threshold.
