Alpi dell'Adamello

In Edolo, in the Alpine valley of Brescia, Alpi dell'Adamello works within the Valcamonica IGT across twenty-four municipalities, where the mountains dictate the rhythms and limits of the vine. The chosen varieties are those suited to cold climates—Riesling Renano, Incrocio Manzoni, and Müller Thurgau—transformed into whites, reds, and passiti wines that reach a minimum of 11.5% alcohol. This is high-altitude viticulture, where thermal excursion and exposure are as important as the grape variety itself. The winery does not separate the vineyard from the tasting experience: the two are intertwined. Visitors can walk through the vineyard and taste on-site, using their senses to understand how altitude and terroir leave their mark on each vintage. A stop in Edolo thus becomes the most direct way to grasp why, in Valcamonica, every vintage carries the imprint of its mountain season.
