Altesino

Altesino stands on the northeast slopes of Montalcino, where Sangiovese vines trace the boundaries of a UNESCO-recognized landscape. The producer charts the strict protocols of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG: minimum 48 months of aging and 12.5% alcohol define each vintage. Guests can visit the estate to taste wines shaped by terrain protected since 2004 as a World Heritage site, where agricultural tradition runs deeper than memory and the southern Tuscan terrain remains largely unspoiled by modern development.
