Asti DOCG

From Canelli, in the Asti Moscato area, Amerio Rocco works within the Asti DOCG denomination, which spans fifty-one municipalities in Piedmont. The reference grape is Moscato bianco, complemented by additional aromatic white grapes, forming the base from which the company produces both sparkling wines and still versions, without limiting itself to a single stylistic register. The technical hallmark lies in the dual path of effervescence: re-fermentations in autoclaves, which preserve immediate fruit and aromatic fragrance, and Metodo Classico, which adds time and structure to the profile. This is a way to foster dialogue between freshness and complexity within the same denomination, expanding its expressive range. Each vintage awaits at least one month of aging before reaching the market, in compliance with regional standards. By concentrating on a single protected origin, Amerio Rocco links its identity to Northern Italy's primary white wine region, interpreting the aromaticity of Moscato not as a fixed formula but as a material to be modulated between different bubbles and still wines, according to the character of each harvest.
