Ancillotto & Ardenghi
Ancillotto & Ardenghi cultivates fifty hectares on the UNESCO-listed hills of Valdobbiadene, where Glera and minor grape varieties have found a home for centuries. The denomination is Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, and the winery, founded by Desiderio Bisol, bears a name taken from a 2017 film: a narrative nod that covers a concrete commitment to production without exploitation of the vineyard or its workers. From these slopes come five vintage references, distributed across approximately two hundred thousand bottles a year, covering the entire spectrum of sparkling wine, from frizzante to spumante. This is a deliberately contained production, prioritizing the declared vintage over volume. Visitors will find two complementary locations: the operational winery, where the wine is made, and the traditional cottage dedicated to tastings and hospitality. The climb among the steep rows is well worth it to taste, one after another, the vintages and understand how Glera changes with each harvest.
