Anna Spinato

In Ponte di Piave, in the province of Treviso, Anna Spinato works within a single denomination, Delle Venezie DOC, the large umbrella for Pinot Grigio from the Northeast. The Treviso hills provide the base, but the ampelographic horizon expands to include classic local whites like Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Garganega, alongside Verduzzo and Tocai Friulano, which define the identity of white wines in this part of Italy. The house style plays on the tension between varietal heritage and contemporary interpretation: each vintage rebalances the historical grape varieties of the area with cellar choices, without straying from the profile imposed by the denomination. The result is a Venetian landscape translated into the glass through a single regulatory framework but a broad palette of grapes, where Pinot Grigio remains the focal point and the other whites define its contours.
