Antica Corte

Antica Corte is nestled in the hills of the Veronese province, in that transitional zone between Soave and Valpolicella where Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave meet the soil that enhances them. The company works with two complementary DOCG denominations: Soave Superiore, a white wine based on non-aromatic grape varieties and focused on elegance, and Recioto di Soave, offered in passito and sparkling versions with a minimum alcohol content of 12%. These two labels tell two opposing ways of interpreting the same grape, from the dry measure of the Superiore to the sweet concentration of the passito, held together by the same hilly territory. The proximity to Illasi Castle places the winery in a landscape where Verona's artistic heritage provides a backdrop to the work of the vine. Antica Corte opens its doors to visitors: the lounge with its wood-burning fireplace and a private tasting room offer the opportunity to sample Soave Superiore and Recioto side-by-side, experiencing firsthand the difference between the dry white and the passito within the same denomination.
