Antichi Vinai Spa

Four generations of Sicilian viticulture stand behind Antichi Vinai, a company of the Gangemi family rooted in the volcanic soils of Etna and active across two twin denominations, Sicilia DOC and Sicilia IGP. Their signature is Nerello Mascalese, guided through increasingly long aging periods that extend the complexity of each vintage and extract mineral finesse and measured effervescence from the volcano's slopes. The character of the place is also evident in the wooden barrels placed within the lava rock, where inherited techniques converse with more recent cellar choices without one erasing the other. The dual registry of the two Sicilian protections offers the company scope to interpret the same grape variety on different levels.
