In Castel Boglione, amidst the Asti hills, Araldica Castelvero is a cooperative of uncommon scale: 140 members and 900 hectares spread across Piemonte's most renowned wine-growing areas, from Monferrato to the Langhe and Roero. This scope allows for reading the territory from multiple angles and consolidating expertise and plots that often remain fragmented elsewhere into a single entity. The flagship denomination is Asti DOCG, built on Moscato bianco and the aromatic grape varieties that define its profile. Here, production is divided between *spumante* (sparkling wine) and *metodo classico* (traditional method), the latter aged for at least one month, in a sought-after balance between structure and the delicate fruitiness that is the hallmark of the area. The collective work, refined over the years, results in a coherent range rather than individual exploits. The winery is open for visits and tastings: stopping here means experiencing firsthand what changes when 140 winemakers pool their vineyards and cellar, tasting Asti at its source.
