Arini Enot. Giuseppe Casa vinicola di Arini Vito Romualdo
Marsala · Province of Trapani · Sicilia
Founded in 1952 in Marsala by Giuseppe Arini alongside his father Giacomo, Casa Vinicola Arini has chosen to remain small. This is a production decision rather than a size constraint: maintaining direct control over every phase allows them to cultivate their largely owned vineyards as niche products rather than focusing on volume. The company operates within two regional denominations, Sicilia DOC and Sicilia IGP, which enable it to cover various styles while remaining within the island's boundaries. The Sicilia DOC red wines are crafted from Nero d'Avola, Frappato, Nerello Mascalese, and complementary grape varieties, achieving balanced alcoholic structures, with a minimum of twelve percent. The stylistic approach caters to contemporary preferences: fresh and refined expressions, far from concentration for its own sake. The result is a range that seeks quality through moderation, interpreting Sicilian tradition on a family scale that is deliberately contained, where the connection to the territory matters more than the quantity produced.
