ASTORIA VINI

Astoria Vini is based in Crocetta del Montello, in the Treviso area, and entrusts its production to two denominations that differ by color and grape variety. On one side is Lison DOCG, a white wine crafted from Tai and other white grape varieties, called upon to express the mineral character of the northeast; on the other is Piave Malanotte DOCG, a red wine that draws its structure from Raboso Piave and related grape varieties, across an area of sixty-two municipalities. The two paths do not converge: each responds to distinct territorial constraints and calibrated minimum alcohol levels—twelve percent for whites, twelve and a half for reds—which set the threshold below which the denomination does not allow itself. It is a work of balance between two souls of winemaking Veneto, the taut white of Lison and the robust red of Piave, held together by the same hand and the same province. A two-voiced portrait emerges, consistent precisely in its duality.
