Az. Agr. Accordini Stefano Soc. Agr. Semplice

From Fumane, within the classic Valpolicella area of Verona, Accordini Stefano crafts two of the region's most demanding wines, both based on blends led by Corvina. Fumane offers the grapes the hillside slopes required by the classic zone's regulations. Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG builds its complexity through twenty-four months of aging, while Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG pursues an opposite path, that of sweetness, achieved through varietal selection and prolonged appassimento (drying of grapes). The two denominations share the same raw material but diverge in their outcome, measuring the breadth of a territory capable of producing both a dry, powerful red and a rounded passito. In both, one recognizes the rigor imposed by Verona's standards, which here is not formality but method. The winery opens its doors to visitors and club members, offering direct access to the complete range: a tangible opportunity to taste Amarone and Recioto side-by-side in the place where they are born.
