Az. Agr. Bel Sit, led by Andrea and Gianpiero Scavino since 1996, is rooted in Castagnole delle Lanze, on the ridge separating Langhe and Monferrato. Their work revolves around a single denomination, Asti DOCG, interpreted in multiple ways: from Moscato bianco and local aromatic grape varieties come sparkling wines—including the traditional method—alongside still whites aged according to the regulations. In an area of strong enological variability, conscious vineyard management becomes the tool by which microclimates and soils translate into wines of consistent quality vintage after vintage. The exposed, undulating hills demand precise cultivation before cellar intervention, and the two brothers seem to interpret Moscato as a material to be indulged rather than corrected.
