Az. Agr. Cavallero Lorenzo

🏡 Tastings & visitsBrachetto d'Acqui DOCG

Az. Agr. Cavallero Lorenzo works with a single denomination, Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG, expressing it in three forms: red, sparkling, and passito. Each remains faithful to the ancient morphology of the small crus of Alta Langa, where the parcels retain the original structure of the vineyards and the landscape around Vesime maintains a wild character. Behind the wine is a family documented on these lands since 1556, and that deep-rootedness is evident in the aromatic complexity of the Brachetto, achieved by respecting the vineyard layout rather than forcing it. It's not a wide range: it's a single grape interpreted in three ways, each with its own measure of sweetness and effervescence. The cellar can be visited by appointment, and an on-site tasting becomes an opportunity to explore the three versions together and, with them, the chapters of a centuries-old presence in the territory. Those who book will find, in the same glass, the Brachetto and the history of the Cavallero family, measured in generations of vines.
