From Teano, in the Caserta area, Cipriano Pietro's winery cultivates vineyards across some of northern Campania's most renowned territories, from the volcanic slopes of Roccamonfina to the Volturno valley. The portfolio embraces five protected denominations: the structured reds of Falerno del Massico and Galluccio, based on Aglianico; the white wines of Aversa, crafted from the rare Asprinio; and the wines of Roccamonfina and Terre del Volturno, spanning both DOC and IGT. The guiding principle is fidelity to origin. Each label expresses the terroir and ampelographic heritage of its specific area, without blending from different zones: the volcanic Caserta area on one side, the acidic freshness of Asprinio on the other. Overseeing five contiguous but distinct denominations requires discerning even minimal differences between soils and microclimates, and respecting them in the cellar. The result is a catalog that rejects homogenization, where each wine remains anchored to the exact spot where its grapes are born—a drinkable geography rather than a mere range.
