Barbera d'Asti DOCGRuchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCGTerre Alfieri DOCG

From Castagnole delle Lanze, at the southern tip of Monferrato Astigiano, Az. Agr. DELINQUENT cultivates a mosaic of three DOCGs that rarely coexist under a single producer. Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato narrows the scope to seven municipalities, a small area dedicated to this aromatic grape variety; Barbera d'Asti, conversely, extends across 165 municipalities; Terre Alfieri completes the picture. The result is a range of red and white wines that correspond to distinct typologies, each with its own alcohol parameters and aging times set by the regulations. Simultaneously working with denominations so diverse in size and grape variety speaks to an idea of territory interpreted through geological differences rather than administrative boundaries. Each bottle remains anchored to the specificity of the soil from which it originates, and quality is measured by adherence to DOCG standards rather than a generic reference to Piedmont. The producer does not open its doors for visits, but its labels precisely convey the intricate tapestry of a corner where three appellations overlap.
