In Motta di Livenza, the Furlan family has been cultivating for over a century, focusing on method rather than immediate results. Two DOCG denominations define their production: Lison, made from Tai and suitable grape varieties, which draws a marked aromatic breadth from the clay soils; and Piave Malanotte, a Raboso-based red aged for at least thirty-six months, gaining complexity and structure from its long rest. Bianco and rosso thus delineate the two extremes of the same Veneto territory: aromatic freshness on one side, structured depth on the other, both dependent on the nature of the soils and the timelines imposed by the disciplinari. Direct care at every stage, from vineyard to cellar, remains the thread that unites the two labels. The winery welcomes visits and tastings: stopping in Motta di Livenza allows you to sample Lison and Piave Malanotte in sequence and to discern, in their contrast, the identity of this part of the Livenza region.
