In Linguaglossa, at the foot of Etna, Az. Agr. Gambino dei F.lli Raciti works with two parallel denominations, Sicilia DOC and Sicilia IGP, where volcanic soils and the Mediterranean climate define the character of the wines. In the vigna, Nero d'Avola, Nerello Mascalese, and Syrah coexist with other indigenous and international varieties, yielding a range of rossi, bianchi, and rosati that reach a minimum of 12% alcohol.
