Az. Agr. Il Posto d'Oro di Van der Meer

Il Posto d'Oro produces Cartoceto DOP extra virgin olive oil in the Marche hills, where the Van der Meer olive groves flourish within the protected area. The farm is located in one of the four municipalities that make up the denomination, a condition that guarantees direct access to olives grown in the very territory that defines this protected origin. The limited size of the area is part of its value: a few localities, a recognizable profile. Each pressing captures the terroir of the slopes between the Pesaro and Urbino areas, where climate and soil converge to shape the oil's character. It is a product born from a circumscribed perimeter and a precise hilly geography, rather than from a vast production zone, and this makes it clearly readable as an expression of a specific place. Without opening its doors to visitors, the Van der Meer reality tells its story through its production: an extra virgin olive oil that links its name to only four municipalities, making geographical circumscription the key to its identity rather than a limitation.
