🏡 Tastings & visitsBrachetto d'Acqui DOCG

La Dogliola di Alberto Quarello cultivates within the Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG, a denomination that extends over twenty-six municipalities in Piedmont and is among the most distinctive areas in the national landscape. The project revolves around a single grape variety, Brachetto, recognizable for its pronounced aromatic profile and a fine-grained natural effervescence. Around this foundation, the winery explores the entire spectrum of the variety: from dry red versions to sweet passito wines, each a measure of the climate and soil of the Acqui area. It is precisely this range that reveals how much Brachetto can change its character while remaining faithful to its floral and wild berry notes. Visitors to the winery will find an active agricultural reality, where the grape variety is interpreted without simplification. Tastings are the most direct way to grasp how territory and vintage shape its aroma: it is worth stopping to taste, side-by-side, the different souls—dry and sweet—of a single grape.
