In the Venetian lands shaped by the course of the Piave river, Giovanni Mazzarotto and Dialma Giro's winery divides its work between two protected denominations with contrasting characteristics. On one side, Lison DOCG, a white wine crafted from the Tai grape; on the other, Piave Malanotte DOCG, a red Raboso wine that requires at least thirty-six months of aging before revealing its full structure. The headquarters in Torre di Mosto falls within both zones, a geographical coincidence the winery treats as a foundation rather than a mere detail: the same land nurtures two distinct wines, a ready-to-drink white and a red for long aging. This dual belonging underpins their commitment to regional authenticity and the slow maturation required by northeastern reds. Two accolades, one territory: the map narrows around a patch of land capable of speaking two oenological languages – the mineral notes of Tai and the dark, tannic character of Raboso – without one overshadowing the other.
