Orlando Abrigo also measures its work against Asti DOCG, the denomination that encompasses fifty-one municipalities centered around Moscato bianco and related aromatic varieties. Here, the grape variety is not limited to its best-known image: it becomes material to be worked in different directions, changing fermentation and format. Three expressions emerge. A classic, dry sparkling wine (spumante), which disproves the idea of Moscato as only sweet; a lively sparkling wine (spumante) obtained with the traditional method, closer to the grape's historical profile; and still white wines, where the aroma remains unveiled without the veil of bubbles. Each bottle respects the minimum of 11.5 degrees alcohol and the mandatory one-month aging, thresholds that provide structure beneath the delicacy of the aromas. This catalog is built to demonstrate how elastic an aromatic grape variety can be when explored with distinct fermentation styles, from dry sparkling to still, without ever losing the trait that makes it recognizable.
