Az. AGR. Palusci Marina

In Pianella, within the boundaries of the Aprutino Pescarese DOP, which encompasses forty-six municipalities in the Pescara area, Marina Palusci's farm produces extra virgin olive oil from the Abruzzese hills. The altitude and microclimate of this part of the province favor the green-yellow hue and herbaceous notes that the denomination recognizes as its own. The oil's profile is built on a medium-low fruitiness that defines its elegance, more about measure than power, reflecting both the terroir and a harvest calibrated to DOP standards. It's an extra virgin olive oil that foregoes emphasis in favor of balance, consistent with a hilly landscape where olives ripen naturally. The farm's sole denomination thus also becomes its declaration of method: to remain within the parameters of Aprutino Pescarese and allow the altitude and the harvester's touch to make the difference in the tasting.
