AZ. AGR. SPERTI DI RENZO BONA
Salgareda · Province of Treviso · Veneto
Renzo Bona's winery, located in Salgareda, navigates between two denominations distinct in color and temperament. On the clayey soils of Lison, the Tai grape thrives, yielding white wines that combine the area's mineral signature with patient cellar aging, achieving the crisp acidity and structure that define the Lison DOCG. On the opposite side, Piave Malanotte DOCG entrusts Raboso grapes to thirty-six months in wood, allowing the naturally angular grape to develop dark fruits and the tight tannic texture that distinguishes it. White and red, therefore, are not two products but two ways of interpreting the same Treviso territory: one taut and vertical, the other dark and material, both bound by the strictness of the regulations. Bona does not seek shortcuts but embraces the long timelines that each denomination imposes, allowing acidity and tannin to define the character. The result is a coherent portrait of the lower Treviso area, where the same hand can transition from the nerve of Tai to the depth of Raboso without betraying either.
