Az Agr Tenuta Solatia di Malagrinò

On the plain of Corigliano-Rossano, along the Ionian coast that concentrates a large part of Calabrian clementine cultivation, Tenuta Solatia di Malagrinò operates within a single denomination, the Clementine di Calabria IGP, whose protected area embraces 404 municipalities in the region. This citrus fruit has made Calabria a national benchmark, and the company interprets two complementary facets of it. On one hand, traditional clementines, with their abundance of seeds and aromas; on the other, seedless (apireno) varieties, which respond to a more recent consumer demand without straying from the terroir that shaped them. The choice to offer both types speaks of an agriculture attentive to the market as much as to the place: the same alluvial soils and the same mild climate of the Calabrian Ionian coast, adapted to different needs. The result is a fruit that brings together geographical identity and adaptation, a measure of how a protected origin can evolve while remaining true to itself.
