Az. Agr. Trabucchi d'Illasi

Trabucchi d'Illasi operates from Illasi, on the eastern edge of Valpolicella Veronese, where the valley microclimate and hilly soils give shape to just two denominations, both DOCG: Amarone and Recioto della Valpolicella. These are the two pinnacles of the local *appassimento* tradition—one dry and powerful, the other sweet—obtained from Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes according to rigorous protocols developed with consulting enologist Franco Bernabei. Behind these wines lies over thirty years of organic viticulture, a choice that here predates trends and defines a philosophy: working with the natural rhythms of the vineyard rather than against them. Eastern Veronese, with its temperature excursions and valley ventilation, favors the healthy drying (*appassimento*) of the grapes, a decisive condition for Amarone and Recioto. The winery welcomes visitors: one can tour the *appassimento* rooms and directly taste the two DOCG wines, experiencing firsthand the difference between the dry and sweet versions from the same terroir.
