Founded in 1982 by Battista, Azienda Conti traces its roots to the recovery of Trebbiano Spoletino, an heirloom variety cultivated using the "vite maritata" method—vines trained on native maple stakes across Trevi and Montefalco. His son Dino and grandson Fabio now steward these vineyards, blending heritage technique with contemporary viticulture. The estate produces Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG with the discipline the zone demands: minimum 37 months aging, bold reds and complex passitos that reveal the potential of this autochthonous black grape still being fully explored.
