Az. Agricola Gnirega di Clementi Pietro e C. s.s.

In Marano di Valpolicella, in the province of Verona, Az. Agricola Gnirega di Clementi Pietro e C. cultivates Corvina Veronese and Rondinella within the Valpolicella area, which comprises nineteen municipalities. Two DOCG denominations alone define its production: Amarone and Recioto, the two pinnacles of the Venetian appassimento method. Amarone della Valpolicella is the most structured red of the area, aged at least twenty-four months and with a minimum of 14% alcohol; Recioto, on the other hand, retains the sweet vocation of dried grapes, offered in passito and spumante versions over 12%. These are two interpretations of the same material dried on racks: one austere and powerful, the other on the sweet register, never outside the boundaries of the nineteen municipalities. Visitors to the winery can closely follow the entire process, from grape selection to bottling, with cellar tastings and walks among the rows.
