Amarone della Valpolicella DOCGRecioto della Valpolicella DOCG

On the slopes of Val di Mezzane, between two and three hundred meters above sea level, Roccolo Grassi cultivates sixteen hectares where Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella coexist. Marco, Francesca, and Bruno work by observation rather than imposition: it is the vineyard, vintage by vintage, that determines how much and how to produce. No fixed recipe, just a keen ear to the land and the hill climate. This method yields two great Valpolicella reds made from dried grapes, Amarone and Recioto, both DOCG and always in limited quantities. One plays on dry depth, the other on concentrated sweetness, but they share the same origin and production specifications. The bottles express a clarity of place that does not seek immediate effect: these are wines built for long aging, capable of evolving in the cellar for decades. It's an idea of patient Valpolicella, where rigorous selection in the vineyard becomes the true signature of the house.
