On the hills of Morro d'Alba, in the province of Ancona, Stefano Bolognini's winery cultivates native Marche grape varieties across four protected denominations. Since 2017, when he took over the family business, he has combined inherited cultivation practices—rooted in three generations on these slopes—with modern cellar methods. The four DOCG wines are divided by color and character. On the red front are Cònero and Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, both structured; on the white side are Verdicchio in its two reserves, Matelica and Castelli di Jesi, both taut and mineral. It is a broad interpretation of Marche oenology, bringing together different registers under the same hand. The winery welcomes visitors: a stop in Morro d'Alba allows guests to taste the reds and Verdicchio side by side and to appreciate how the same territory speaks multiple languages.
